Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Industry: Industrial Manufacturing

Location: Lowell, MA (on-site)

Compensation: $225K - $275K base salary plus bonus (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking candidates for a CFO position based in Lowell, MA, with a well-established, privately held manufacturing company. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and play a key role in driving the company’s financial and operational strategy. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to work closely with ownership and senior leadership to lead strategic initiatives, enhance financial operations, and implement new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of finance and accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Oversee cost accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing environment
• Drive the evaluation and implementation of a new ERP system
• Enhance financial processes, reporting capabilities, and internal controls
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and decision-making
• Manage relationships with banking partners, auditors, and external advisors
• Lead, develop, and optimize an established finance and accounting team
• Oversee multi-entity financial reporting and consolidation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• 10+ years of accounting & finance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in: Cost accounting, Inventory-driven operations, Cash flow management and forecasting
• Previous experience supporting ERP implementations
• Exposure to multi-entity or consolidated financial structures
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve processes, and execute initiatives
