**this is a 3 day project proctoring the Bar exam paying $20/hr. It will be onsite all 3 days and need folks with flexible working hours as you will be working longer than 8 hour days.***

• This nonprofit organization dedicated to developing, administering, and supporting high-quality assessments for the legal profession. • By assisting on this project, you’ll contribute to a mission-driven organization that plays a critical role in shaping the future of the legal profession.They will be launching their beta assessment in Hartford, CT and need 9 proctors.
• This role has been created to support the beta launch of a new exam delivery platform. During this critical phase, we will be delivering exams to several hundred test-takers, and additional technical expertise is needed to ensure a smooth, secure, and reliable testing experience.

Hours : 

Regular/Standard Schedule ( lunch around 12:05 pm to 1:05 pm)

Tues, July 287:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Wed, July 297:30 AM - approx. 12:30 PM

Accommodated Schedule ( lunch times will vary)

Tues, July 287:30 AM - approx. 6:30 PM

Wed, July 297:30 AM - approx. 4:00 PM

Thurs, July 307:30 AM - approx. 4:00 PM

Additional Notes:

• BG check, no drug test
• Must not know anyone taking the future bar exams.
• Must pass NCBE Certified Proctor exam - can take it multiple times but need 100% to work
• July 21st is first training date. Will get an hour of paid training for this

Proctor’s Roles & Responsibilities

• Proctor will be responsible for helping examinees troubleshoot day-of exam delivery platform issues (reboot/restart, ensuring wifi connectivity).
• Role requires proficiency in how the delivery platform functions on both Mac and PC environments.
• All proctors will need to attend the required ITS certification training and pass the associated test.
• They will collaborate closely with the backup laptop custodian to ensure backup devices are ready to use in approved situations and deployed appropriately.
• Follow instruction from the Lead Technical Proctor, Site-IT, and those responsible for the back-up wifi
• Collaborate with administrators, proctors, and on-site NCBE staff
• NCBE is requiring 1:100 ratio of technical proctors to examinees but staffing will be dependent on location and room size
• Document all technical issues where support was required and backup devices were deployed using designated reporting form
• Back-up laptop responsibility
  • Know when to deploy backup laptops
  • Keep track of all backup devices during testing
  • Ensure devices are ready-to-use throughout testing

Reimbursements

- We will provide a stipend per day for parking and lunch ($35/day)

This is a Contract position based out of Hartford, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
