Job Description

This role involves working in a shop environment where you will be responsible for grinding down paint off oil industry products and moving them to designated areas. This is a repetitive and very physical job, requiring strength and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a handheld grinder.
• Prepare products for pressure leak testing.
• Prepare products for painting.
• Prepare products for shipment.
• Identify and resolve issues with defect areas on products.

• 6+ months of experience in general labor work.
• Ability to move heavy products around the shop throughout the day.
• Experience with construction and using a grinder.

• Experience in construction work.
• Experience in fabrication grinding.
• Any computer work related to manufacturing or fabrication.

Work Environment

Work in a job shop environment equipped with heaters for the winter. It may get warm during the summer months. The shop is not crowded, providing ample space to work. Steel-toed boots are required. The working hours are from 6 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zanesville, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
