The deck department is responsible for the navigational safety and integrity of the vessel. In addition to navigation, this department ensures that all lifesaving and firefighting equipment is ready and properly working at all times, and coordinates all crew safety training. The deck department is also responsible for the security of the vessel as well as the overall maintenance of the ship's exterior surfaces and open decks.To be a part of this team, you must have the required licenses and endorsements for each role, according to maritime regulations and our company's policies
