$25 to $30 an hour + SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL!

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Chemical Operator for our 3rd shift team in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities:

• Observe and monitor chemical reactions and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Adjust operational parameters as required to maintain product quality.
• Follow directions from supervisors and control laboratories to ensure adherence to prescribed processes.
• Draw product samples for laboratory analysis and maintain detailed production logs.

Essential Skills:

• Strong understanding of chemical processes and manufacturing techniques.
• Proficient in operating reactors, mixers, pumps, valves, and other plant machinery.
• Competent in computer data entry for batch runs and chemical usage.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a pre-employment screenings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in chemical processing or manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Union membership required after 30 days of employment.
• Attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork.
• Problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability.
• Strong physical stamina and time management skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.

The pay range for this position is $56139.20 - $65270.40/yr.
