A dynamic and growing civil litigation defense firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Orange County office. The ideal candidate will support all phases of litigation and manage a diverse caseload across several defense practice areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of civil defense matters, including:
  • Personal Injury Defense (high-exposure bodily injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability)
  • Habitability Claims
  • Products Liability
  • Transportation Litigation
  • Premises Liability
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Review and analyze documents for relevancy and privilege
• Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery and motion practice
• Make court appearances; attend mediations and settlement conferences
• Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trials
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• 1+ year of litigation experience in areas such as personal injury, products liability, transportation, habitability, or premises liability
• Strong legal research, writing, organizational, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of civil procedure and court filing requirements
• Proven ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Willingness to travel as needed
